More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I spent three years as a counselor for the OST program in Upper Manhattan, where I took the lead in designing integrated science and art curricula. My professional journey continued at the Perry School as an Art Coordinator; there, I focused on creating curriculum-based art projects that expanded children's curiosity and motor skills. Beyond the classroom, I coordinated student plays and worked directly with the children to bring their characters to life through costume design. During the summers, I also managed a multi-age program, mentoring older students as they assisted in the production and creative direction of our seasonal performances.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I find so much joy in introducing little ones to the wonders of the world around them. Whether we’re exploring the quiet beauty of a community garden or tucked away in a library or museum on a rainy afternoon, I love making every outing an adventure. At home, I’m at my happiest when we’re elbow-deep in sensory play, baking treats together, or watching something we planted grow. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than nurturing a child’s imagination and helping them discover their own creativity

The most important part about being a nanny...

At the end of the day, my greatest goal is knowing that both the child and the parents feel fully supported. I pride myself on maintaining a calm, steady presence—especially during those difficult moments when a child is feeling unwell or having a hard day. By approaching every challenge with patience and deep empathy, I’m able to provide the comfort and safety children need to feel secure in doing so i also aim to make the parents feel they are supported too.

My favorite moments as a nanny are always those quiet reflections after an outing, hearing the children share how much they loved the day’s adventures. It brings me such peace of mind to know they feel safe, happy, and inspired by the world around them. Beyond the bond I share with the kids, there is a special kind of joy in knowing the parents feel truly supported,it makes the work we do together as a team feel even more rewarding
