I was a tutor at Chinook Middle School, where I was able to interact with pre teens and aid them with their schoolwork. I was in charge of helping them understand subjects, making sure they completed their work, and built professional relationships with the children.

I was homeschooled for most of my life until I went to CBC. So I have a lot of firsthand experience with extra crafts and outdoor activities. I love going for walks, playing outside, using creative ideas to make and design crafts and toys with the kids. I am always up to do something adventurous with the kids! I have a lot of younger cousins, and am eager to make learning fun, and playing educational!

I make sure to always give the kiddos my full attention. Kids always want to be listened to, and I find one of the most important things is showing that you truly care. When you give your undivided attention to the kids, they feel so important, and you gain their trust and make a true bond with them. :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the best feelings in the world is building a strong friendship with the kids I’ve nannied over the years. Kids are very impressionable and listen to everything you say. I always make sure to set a good example whenever I’m around the kids. One of my favorite moments is when the little boy who I nanny on Thursday’s and Friday’s, asks to dance with me. We turn on some funny music and do crazy dance moves to wiggle out all the energy. It’s become a regular part of our daily routine, and seeing him jump and smile is one of the best things in the world!
