Hi! My name is Katelyn, and I’m 18 years old going into my senior year of high school. I have about a year of experience working with kids ages 5–16 and have always had a passion for childcare. Last year, I completed Educator Academy, where I worked closely with kindergarteners, and had also worked in an after-school program. These experiences helped me build patience, communication skills, and a strong understanding of working with children of different ages.

I’m especially interested in working with children from infancy to age 5 because I love being part of those important early years of growth and development. I enjoy helping young children learn, grow, and feel safe in a caring environment.

Next year I’ll be doing co-op, which gives me flexibility to balance school and work depending on scheduling. I love creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for kids, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue doing what I enjoy most—working with and caring for children
