A little bit about me

Hello! I have been a mother's helper/babysitter/nanny since I was 12 years old (17 years of experience). I have nannied for newborns all the way up to middle school age children. I have nannied for only children as well as families of 6 and even children dinner party entertainment.

My specialty is with families with 3+ K-8, 2 under 2 and newborns.

I do not just sit on the couch while your child naps or watches TV. While there has been an improvement in educational videos, I believe a child's day should be full of experience. This includes a balance, of playing with toys, imagination games, outside time, art time, reading, music, dancing, and healthy meals.

I have nannied for bilingual children and while I am only a beginner in a few languages, I have no problem exploring 2nd language learning options for your child.

I have also nannied for children with speech delay and minor behavioral/health issues including night terrors, bed wetting, as well as others.

While I am not a parent myself, my unique experience of nannying, babysitting and working with so many children has allowed me to form a unique style of working with different kids in different ways.

I have worked with many families that do have different parenting styles than my nannying style (ie. we give our child what he or she wants even though that means giving them boxes of cookies and margarine from the tub to eat for dinner) While I do not necessarily agree, I will never go against your wishes as a parent. My goal is to provide your child with nannying style that YOU want for your child. I do like to offer up helping switch your child from junk food to healthy food if that is something you struggle with and are interested in. As a parent, you have more than enough on your plate. That is something I am more than happy to take on as your nanny!
