Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m a very hands on and sensory seeker, my ADHD definitely is a perk when it comes to babysitting because I can help tire them out. I will take every single opportunity to go outside because nature is so therapeutic and most kids love exploring. :-) I love activities that help build motor skills, like coloring and shape games. I love to read books and have little dance parties. Kids are so easy going and happy as long as you’re interacting with them, which I promise to do! :-)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Role modeling. Every single action we make is an example we are teaching children, whether it be communication styles or ways to express what they are needing/feeling. The most important part of being a nanny is providing nurture while also teaching. I think a huge part that helps this come to life is by having a consistent schedule and structure :-)
