Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was enrolled in an Early Childhood Education course for all four years of high school, and throughout the program, I gained extensive hands-on experience working directly with young children. I spent countless hours in a preschool classroom, where I was responsible for looking after the children, supervising playtime, assisting with meals, leading activities, and supporting their daily routines. I not only learned about child development and behavior in the classroom setting, but also applied that knowledge every day by helping care for children ages 3 to 5. My role involved keeping them safe, engaged, and emotionally supported. Most recently, I had the amazing opportunity to begin teaching in a kindergarten classroom at Willis Elementary and McNeal Elementary, where I helped guide students through academic lessons and social development.
