I have worked in both group daycare and in - home settings caring for anywhere from infants to 7 years old! My most recent experience was working for a family with a 6 month old and a three year old and was with them for a little over a year!

The most important aspect of any nanny job is building the foundation and personal connection with the kiddos, that can be through silly jokes, activities, or something simple like remembering their favorite flavor of yogurt. Having the kids feel heard and appreciated no matter what we’re doing is my number one goal.

My favorite nanny moments are the ones that catch me by surprise, like hearing a kid repeat something we have been working on (such as why we wash our hands) for the first time and seeing the excitement in their face after accomplishing it!
