Hi, I am a 52 year old mother of 3, whose children are mostly grown. I love working with children. Before becoming a stay at home and homeschooling mom, I worked as an assistant preschool teacher, nanny, art teacher, and in a family daycare for many years. I am responsible, dependable, experienced, kind, and love supporting families. I have a bachelor's degree in fine arts and some graduate studies in art therapy. I have had coursework in child development, and experience working with down syndrome and autism. I keep the space I work in tidy, peaceful, and orderly, and enjoy helping to provide healthy meals. I am able to help with most homework, though I couldn't tutor the upper level high school math and science. I have had great success in helping children learn to read and in foundational math. I would be very happy to help with any homeschooling as well.
In my own time, I enjoy my family, time with my children, painting, volunteering, and being in nature.
