Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm known for my calm demeanor, which helps create an environment for children to thrive. I have my own reliable transportation and love going on outings! “Field trips” would be something I would like to do regularly. I value education and would be able to focus on this outside of school, if wanted. I especially love activities that focus on educating kids on their emotions, nature, and animals.

My experience with special needs children...

I have 3 years of experience working with children who have experienced trauma. Throughout those years, I also have worked with kiddos on the autism spectrum or those with ADD/ADHD. I am trained in trauma informed care and mental health first aid certified.
I believe that these certifications along with my experience give me a unique perspective into children’s behaviors. I know all the calming and grounding techniques! 😊
