Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing anything outdoors, especially with the toddler age, because it gives them time to run all that energy off. Indoors, I like to read books, do age appropriate artwork, have tea parties or play with dolls (with the girls), watch movies, make superhero outfits and "save the world" (with the boys), and just anything I can come up with to spark their interest. I understand that children have short attention spans so I always make sure to time the activities accordingly.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Giving the parent's a break but also peace of mind knowing that their children are in good hands, and doing everything I can to ensure that the children have a productive, fun, carefree day.
