I’m looking for part-time jobs such as after-school care, evening babysitting, weekends, and occasional daytime help. I’m especially comfortable with infants, toddlers, and school-age children, and I’m open to one-time jobs or recurring family placements depending on what’s needed.

I have experience working in Head Start childcare, as a teacher’s aide in an elementary school, and at the YMCA caring for children from infants through school age. These roles gave me experience with daily routines, group supervision, learning activities, and keeping children safe and engaged in different environments.

I’m also a grandmother, so I bring a calm, patient, and very hands-on approach to childcare. I take safety seriously, communicate well with parents, and aim to make children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.

The most important part of being a nanny is the child’s safety and well-being. I focus on making sure children are supervised at all times, in a safe environment, and following the family’s routines and rules. I also believe emotional safety is just as important, so I aim to be calm, patient, and consistent so children feel secure and cared for while their parents are away.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite childcare moments is seeing a child I’ve been working with start to feel comfortable, safe, and confident around me. I especially enjoy those small moments when they open up, start engaging more, or get excited to see me again. It reminds me that consistency, patience, and care really make a difference in a child’s sense of security and happiness.
