Activities I enjoy doing with children...
DIY food and art crafts, baking, science experiments, music, storytime, etc. I’m open to trying most things at least once!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Transitioning from a nanny to an extended family member. I love being able to build a strong bond with my clients and their families!
My experience with special needs children...
I am currently working/studying in applied behavior analysis for children with special needs, and further plans to combine with education(12/2020-present).
My first experience began in 2011 when I was in high school. My late teacher Ms. Mary Collins founded a schoolwide social skills group for neurotypical and neurodivergent students called Boxer Buddies. Throughout the year we would be paired with a buddy to participate in various activities, culminating the year with the Special Olympics being hosted at our multi-use stadium. I believe this is what kickstarted my journey to where I am working now.

My heart melts a little each time a child really likes my hair or a piece of my outfit and wants to play with it or wear it themselves!
