Hello, my name is Kathryn. I consider my approach to working with children, as positive, compassionate and nurturing .

I have worked over 10 years through the childcare field. I have experience with nannying infants up to children 12 years of age. I have worked as an assistant and lead preschool teacher. I have both in person and online teacher experience with children grades K-6

I enjoy playing with children outdoors, whether they prefer playground equipment, sandboxes, or imaginative play.
I love having seasonal arts and crafts to make with children depending on their age level.

I feel being compassionate and nurturing is very important with children.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children on the spectrum. I had nannied a young girl from 6 years until about 12 years of age who had different learning needs with dyslexia and her own struggles managing her temperament being on the spectrum. I helped with watching her, driving to school as well as homework help.

I have additional experience working with children with varying learning needs and temperaments in a preschool setting.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love moments where I can see children brighten and see their potential with accomplishments, whether this be from building a block tower up to finding a subject they enjoy in school.
