My experience working with children includes, working as a Nanny, Psychoeducational Group Facilitator Assistant, a Soccer Coach, a babysitter, and a school tutor.
My most recent work as a Nanny has included work with a 5 year old boy and his 2 year old little sister. I worked to help mom and dad pick up their kids from school, make them meals, take baths, etc.
As a Group Facilitators Assistant I worked with groups of kids of all different ages to teach them social skills, stress management techniques, emotional intelligence, and how to build resilience.
As a Soccer Coach I worked with five 7 year old girls and taught them soccer techniques, how to work as a team, and gave them the confidence they needed to pursue their sport!
As a tutor I worked with kids on their homework, and answered their school questions. I was able to give kids the help they needed so they can maintain good grades and understand their class concepts.

I love being outside and exploring local things to do! Parks, museums, and children's centers are all some amazing tools that I like to utilize to help the kids stay occupied. I also love arts and crafts, games, and spending quality time together!

I used to pick up a 2 year old girl that I nannied from daycare. Everyday when she would see me she would run towards me with her arms stretched with the biggest sweetest smile on her face. She would jump into my arms and would just be so happy to see me. One day when I picked her up her teacher told me that she didn't have a very good day. She would start crying every 10 minutes and nothing would get her to stop except talking about making peanut butter and jelly sandwich's with Kathryn. It makes me so happy knowing that I was a safe place for her.
