More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my years as a classroom teacher, working closely with kids of different ages and learning styles.
I've also worked in early intervention and applied behavior analysis (ABA), which gave me hands-on experience supporting children's developmental and behavioral needs in a nurturing, structured way.
In addition, I've facilitated Girl Scout troop activities, which let me guide groups of kids through hands-on projects, teamwork, and fun.
Alongside all of this, I've worked as a professional nanny, caring for children in their homes and building trusted, day-to-day relationships with the families I work with.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy all educational activities with children. I also love to go on walks, or take them to the park so they can get out in nature. Whether it is playing a sport, playing with toys or reading books, I enjoy being active with children, giving them a break from the world of electronic devices.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me about being a nanny is being a steady, joyful presence in a child's life. I care deeply about creating an environment where kids feel safe and loved, because that foundation is what lets them explore, play, and grow with confidence.
I find real joy in the playful moments — the silly games and spontaneous fun — because that's often where the deepest learning happens.
Watching a child discover something new, whether it's sounding out a word, solving a puzzle, or saying their first "I did it!", is one of the most rewarding parts of this work.
At the heart of it, I want every child in my care to feel secure, curious, and genuinely happy.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children is both personal and professional. My son was on the spectrum as a toddler, and my niece and nephew are on the spectrum as well — experiences that inspired me to pursue a New York State teaching certification in Students with Disabilities, Birth–Grade 2.
I went on to work as an ABA therapist and a SEIT (Special Education Itinerant Teacher) for over two years, supporting children's developmental and behavioral growth firsthand.
I'm proud to share that my son graduated with honors from college, and my niece and nephew are college graduates as well — a testament to what's possible with the right support and care along the way.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments are the simple ones — an impromptu dance party in the kitchen while making a snack, or a child running over, beaming, to show me something they're proud of. It's those small, everyday connections that make this work so meaningful to me.
