A little bit about me

My name is Katie Haglund. I am 23 years old. I was adopted from the Marshall Islands. Growing up i’ve always said that my dream job was to just become a mom. I love working with children, and better yet playing with them! I have many nieces and nephews and they are my go to on a stressful day! After high school I taught dance to young children for about 2 years and I nannied for 3-4. I now work at an Elementary school called James E Moss. This school is a low income school and many refugees attend. I work with behavior kids and teach them mindfulness and how to calm down. I also do reading groups, lunchroom management, and PE classes. I am looking for a summer nanny job, and I won’t have work in the summer with school being out. I can start the first week of June. However, I will be going on my 5th humanitarian trip to Fiji this summer as the Assistant team leader. I would be gone from June 23rd- July 6th. I would love an opportunity to work with your kiddos!
