Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a very active person so I love walks and being outside. I also feel as though it is incredibly important to keep kids occupied in a way that works their brain, or teaches them something new. Its easy to just plop kids down in front of the
tv and go on with your day, but I feel as though, especially at a young age, it is important to challenge their little minds and teach them new things/skills that will help them grow. So I guess it depends on the age but there are so many things nowadays like puzzles or books or games that make them think.

My experience with special needs children...
In high school, I was a peer tutor, which is basically where I would spend one class period a day with our school's special needs students and I would help teach them the certain subject that they were learning at that time. I understand that routine is incredibly important when it comes to certain students so I would adapt to their schedule and teach them what they were used to at that time, whether it was Math, English, Geography, etc. Along with that, my cousin does have autism so I have also learned things here and there from spending time with him, which helped me understand more about his needs.
