Hi there! My name is Katie and I have worked with children as young as 6 weeks to 6 years of age! Most of my experience is with Nannying, but I have experience in working in numerous daycares as well! I enjoy working with any age! I am very caring, empathetic, and loving! I pay close attention to detail and make sure to research learning/hands on activities for the child’s age group. I am CPR certified, Bloodborne Pathogen certified, First aid Certified. I love to get the child(ren) outside as much as I can rain or shine (dressed appropriately for the weather) - walks, parks, running around etc
I make it a goal of mine to do research on 1-2 activities for the child(ren) to do each day that is age appropriate for them.
Arts & crafts are my favorite do as well with the child(ren)

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part to me in making the connection with the child(ren). It’s truly such a rewarding job when you get to work with children and every day is a new experience but making sure the child feels loved, heard, & seen is so important!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many that it is hard to choose from. I think my favorite would have to be when I was just starting out with a new nanny family it was in the summer time and I was Nannying a 2 year old boy and 4 year old girl and the 4 year old girl learned how to swim after weeks of tying and getting so frustrated and upset I help keep her motivated and keep trying and after a few more days she succeeded and was so proud of herself. The two year old little boy had been trying to learn how to swing in their play swing by himself and after a few days of me working with him he got the hang of it and it was truly such a rewarding feeling for them and myself! I loved it!!
