Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started babysitting when I was about 11 years old, and continued to do so for family friends for several years. I spent two weeks in Morocco teaching English to children at a summer camp in Casablanca, and for a few years I was also a dance teacher's assistant for younger classes at Reif Dance.

I was babysitting for a family friend who has two daughters. At the time, the older was a toddler and the younger was still an infant. I was holding the infant to calm her down because she was crying, and once she was calm again, I laid her down thinking she would nap. Instead she immediately reached her arms out to me to pick her up again, and it was so heartwarming to me!

I am 21 years old and I am in college for early childhood education. In december of 2025 I graduated with my associates and now I am going for my bachelor’s. I currently work at a daycare and my position there is the lead 3 year old teacher. I have worked at the daycare for a little over a year, but looking to be a full time nanny! My goal after graduating is being either a kindergarten or first grade teacher! I have my CPR certification and I have my first aid certification. I love to make sure children feel safe, protected, comfortable and happy. I also strive to create a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where the kiddo(s) feel they can truly be themselves, knowing that I will be there to support them!
