A little bit about me

Im Katie Larson and I love children! I always have! My mother had two more kids who I would babysit for constantly when they were new borns and toddlers. I worked at a pool and taught kids ages 1-10 swim lessons. I did that for three years and each year learned what to do in emergencies and CPR. I also worked at a daycare (mainly with infants and toddlers) I cleaned, sanitized and watched 4-10 kids at a time. I am responsible, organized, clean, multitasking, and fun. I have also nannied for two family’s! I made them
meals, helped teach them to clean and manners, played with them, and put them down for nap time or bed!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have lots of experience with children! I worked teaching swim lessons from ages 1-10 years old. I worked in a day care (mainly with infants and toddlers, ages newborn-3, but also older kids occasionally) and Ive had two nanny jobs watching 2 or more adorable kids!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to color and read books with kids. I always find it so interesting to see how they respond to certain activities we do!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being a nanny because it teaches me more and more about responsibility and how to care for others other than yourself. I also love it because I want to be a mom someday and nannying helps prepare me for that!

My experience with special needs children...

I have a little bit of experience with special needs! When i taught swim lessons there were countless! I also did special needs mutual. We got partnered up with someone with special needs and we were their buddy for the night! Once a week i did this!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I always love watching young children learn number and shapes. It’s so fun to hear them say the shape or number incorrectly but you know that what they said is correct :)
