Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for three families from 2012 to 2017. One of the families had a child with down syndrome that I cared for. I also worked at Heavenly Ski Resort Day Care in Lake Tahoe.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a scuba instructor and love to take kids to the pool and swimming. I love doing anything outdoors like taking walks, playing sports/games, going to the park, etc... I enjoy making art projects and encouraging their creativity.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is being another source of love and a good role model for the kids while also helping support their parents do everything they can to raise great people.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with a 5 year old with Down Syndrome. He was non verbal and we worked on sign language and communicating what he needed.

It's not one moment but I worked with a family for over 5 years and got to watch the kids grow up and become kind, amazing people. I thoroughly enjoyed being there throughout all the new seasons and being a source of joy and support for them.
