More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For 8 months (working part-time in college), I worked as an aftercare school teacher for pre-K through 1st grade. I also have volunteered at an organization founded to help give refugee families resources they need called Spero. I would hang out with children (ages 18 months to 12 years old) twice a week. In both the aftercare job and Spero, I would read, talk, play, and connect with children. My job was to help organize activities for the children (ESL activities, reading, play dough, coloring, crafts, etc).

I love to ride bikes, swim, play board games, play make believe, dance around, bake cookies, etc. If the child is enthusiastic about an activity, I am happy to do it with them!
