Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a dedicated and compassionate caregiver with over eight years of hands-on experience as a stay-at-home mother to twin girls (age 8) and a six-year-old son, all of whom have autism and ADHD. This experience has given me extensive knowledge of behavior support, routines, patience, and individualized care.

Prior to motherhood, I worked as a medical biller and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, bringing strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills into my caregiving work. I have also provided full-time childcare for a toddler in my home.

I am a non-smoker with a safe, reliable vehicle and am comfortable with pets. I am happy to assist with housekeeping and light meal preparation. I genuinely love working with children and find great joy and fulfillment in helping them feel safe, supported, and understood.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing games, engaging in educational activities that foster learning and development, and, of course, joining in on silly, imaginative play. I strongly believe hands-on experiences are the best way for children to learn, and I love involving them in age-appropriate tasks to build confidence and independence. Reading to children is also something I truly enjoy, as it encourages language development and a love of learning.

My experience with special needs children...

My twin daughters have moderate autism and ADHD, and my son has ADHD. This experience has given me extensive, hands-on knowledge in supporting children with behavioral challenges, speech delays, and the need for individualized approaches to care. I am comfortable using different parenting and caregiving methods to meet each child’s unique needs, while maintaining patience, consistency, and a nurturing environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When caring for a young boy, it took time and patience for him to feel comfortable enough to nap. By providing a calm, consistent, and reassuring environment, I earned his trust, and he was eventually able to relax, rest his mind, and fall asleep.
