Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in two Daycares working with children of all ages. I was primarily stationed in the infant and toddler rooms. I have also been a nanny for two families with children ages four months to five years. I worked in a clinic working with children on the Autism Spectrum using ABA play based therapy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy doing art projects, science experiments, and sensory activities. I always have a backpack that I bring with me with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities depending on the children's preferences.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The three year old that I watched, was playing independently with her toys. I had the chance to witness her demonstrate gentle behavior which is one of my main goals to teach the children I care for. She spoke in a calm tone and reminded her toys to play gently with each other when they were fighting over another toy. I was amazed to watch her create a scenario where there was conflict that she resolved using techniques that I had been teaching her.
