Lovely day to you! Currently l am a guest teacher all across Lee county and have experience in a montissouri nature school. I love to see the amazement in a child's eyes when they've learned something new and it fascinates them! Nannying is where I feel comfortable most. While I do love to watch over 25 children, there is not much time to connect one on one. So, I would love a position that consists of fewer children that I am able to keep my full attention on. I have experience with special needs and I am very open with my schedule, so if you need me last minute, I will absolutely try to be there! I have a drivers license and I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I can't wait to get to know a bit about you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In VPK, elementary and middle schools I was a volunteer teacher for years and now I am a guest teacher for many schools! :) lifeguarding, swim instructing, and hotel child supervising were also a joy to be apart of. I now want to share my passion of teaching through families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, reading, drawing, story telling, coloring, movies, music, singing, dancing, baking, playing games, swimming, tag, hide and seek, outdoor play time (basketball, catch, etc)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being patient, you have to have patience for the child, and for the parents and for yourself, taking things one day at a time to establish a trust with the family, especially children, who don't understand or know how to explain their feelings, you'll need the patience to deal with their mood swings, or when they're overly tired, patience will always be key.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with a child who has special needs is minimal (only in classrooms and in hotel settings), but I am willing to learn all of the accommodations a/your child with special needs has. If they are accommodations that require medical attention or medications daily, I will need guidance from you to ensure everything is done appropriately for your child :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

During my time with a student that had been having a difficult time throughout the school year, there was a massive breakthrough with better communication, a more positive outlook, and his grades! He just needed someone that was willing to listen and willing to be there for him even when he pushed everyone else away. He ended up passing the class with flying colors and now has a more positive outlook on the world. I don’t think I’ll ever forget him!
