I worked for a family of two boys aged 4-7 when I lived in Raleigh for about 9 months. I also worked for another family in Greensboro for a year who had a 2 year old and a 4 year old. I have also worked with all kinds of ages on the swim team I used to coach for a few years ago. And I serve as a role model and confidant for my employees who work for me now who are high school aged.

Going to the park, playing on the playground, arts and crafts, reading books, playing card games or board games, going on activities like to the Greensboro science center and playing with all kinds of toys and sports.

My favorite nanny moment was when I had a two year old having a very big tantrum and I calmed them down and we talked out their feelings and why they were upset. This allowed trust to build between the child and I and they knew they could rely on me.
