A little bit about me

Hi!! My name Is Kaybree, I am 17 years old. I have a lot of nephews and cousins. I have helped out taking care of them over the years, I have mostly helped my nephew Harley who just turned 5 in may! He is my best friend. I started taking care of my little friends a little after I turned 13. I would like to say I am a very kind person, I am a very fun cousin supposedly! When taking care of my buddies I usually like to keep them active, I try not to use videos or cartoons to keep them entertained unless that’s what is a preferred way! I live in Raleigh, I have very flexible hours from anytime between 10 AM- 11PM, I can do earlier if needed. Pay is flexible as well, I put the recommended pay but i’m open to any offers, I understand times are hard. I hope to be able to help out and gain some new friends!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a ton of experience with helping out with kids or taking care of them. I am from a big family with tons of kids. At any family event we have I always find myself to be sitting at the kids table, or playing hide and seek. Not because I was told to but because I also was a kid, I know what it’s like to want to play with the big kids! I absolutely adore getting to see and watch my little family members grow and learn how to express themselves! I particularly have experience with taking care of my nephew, he is 5 and is nonverbal autistic, I have had the joy of being by his side since he was born. I have sat through hours worth of disney, played with an infinite amount of cars and I can’t wait to be able to do it again!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I tend to stay away from technology, I’m not against watching movies or shows but when it comes to actives I like to let them express themselves with art, or fun games! I am a master hide and seek player with a mind for fun active games. I’m really open to activities, each child enjoy different things so it’s my job to be able to find what they enjoy and find an activity to express that for them.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have a lot of experience within care of special needs children. I do have a nephew who I have had the honors of being able to watch since he was born, he is nonverbal autistic. We found our own way to communicate with each other in ways where he was comfortable with. I have watched him grow and express himself in so many colorful ways.
