I have worked at two childcare centers, an elementary school, and was a summer nanny last year! I also do lots of babysitting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am pretty outdoorsy and love to take any children I care for to the park, pool, go on a walk, anywhere! But if there is some downtime indoors I am also pretty crafty and enjoy making things, reading books, or even making cookies!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, what matters the most about nannying is making sure the child is having fun. While yes, this is a job for me, I still like to have FUN! And this doesn’t always have to be going grand places like the zoo, or water park. It can be as simple as sidewalk chalk or bubbles. The simplest things mean the world to kids. Children are only so young for so long, and I believe that we should do everything we can to give them a happy childhood!

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is any time the boys (two boys I cared for) were in the car, they would ask me to play songs loudly and we would roll all of the windows down and sing our hearts out!
