More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have had multiple nanny positions within the last few years my last job was with a family for about 1.5 years where I watched 5 children ages 2-14. I had them all summer where I drove them sporting events, ice cream runs, playground trips and did meal prep, house work and other helpful chores for them. We had the best time. The girls then went to school and I stayed home with the 2 year old and would pick up girls from school and take them home or to sporting events. Everyday I was expected to do light household clean ups after the boy as well as other small messes like dishes or vacuuming.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love making great runs. I love taking them to activities or parks as well as playing with them with their own used to settings around the house.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making the babies feel safe. I know it’s already hard enough for a parent to trust their babies in the hands of another, so I believe the most important part is communicating to parents how things go and everything that happens, as well as making sure there is trust and a good relationship with the kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when my 2 year old boy I watched was able to say my name before any other family member. I felt like I had officially earned a spot in his life and even though I have moved away from him and his family I travel back often and keep in touch because I truly care for him and the children I look after.

Hi! I'm Grace, a recent Vanderbilt graduate with degrees in Psychology, Medicine, Health, and Society, and Spanish.
I've been babysitting for over 10 years, and I spent two summers nannying for a toddler—one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
