I worked for Disney before the pandemic so I am used to being around kids and ensuring their safety while they are having fun.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to be outside so pool days, going to the park, riding bikes, and playing sports with kids. Indoors crafts are fun even though I am not very crafty, movie days when its too hot and playing with games!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I had the best moments with my baby-sitters when I was younger. They were like my older siblings and I loved when they would take me to the park, play sports, and other actives. I feel like being able to have fun with the kids especially right now where everything is uncertain is so important. But, I also feel like its important they know you're in charge as well so there has to be a happy medium.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have experience with special needs children and I am not sure I am qualified/comfortable with doing so.
The most important part about being a nanny...
In college I had a family that I watched the most. A little girl who was 4 and a boy who was 8. They were my absolute favorite. One day we just went into town and got ice cream then went to the park so they could watch the ducks and it was overall just a really nice day. It wasn't anything really special but I knew they were happy and that's what happened to me.
