My name is Kayla. I bring over 11 years of professional childcare experience and have worked in several nanny shares throughout my career. While I have experience with children of all ages, infant and toddler care and development is truly where I thrive.

My background includes caring for multiple infants in a variety of settings, including twins, a nanny share with two infants and a preschooler, and several years as an infant and toddler teacher in a childcare environment. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Leadership, along with a second degree in Early Childhood Development—working with young children is not just my profession, but a true passion of mine.

"Kayla nannied for our family for 6 months before I decided to transition to stay at home full-time. Kayla was very attuned to our two girls (1 y/o and 3 y/o) needs. We fondly referred to her as the 'baby whisperer' because she was able to understand exactly what our baby needed or was trying to communicate. Our 1 y/o was always (within reason) calm and happy with Kayla. Our 3 y/o is apprehensive to new adults in her life and immediately took to Kayla (which is rare for our daughter) and is one of the reasons why we hired her (from that very first meet and greet)! Kayla came up with age appropriate play for our 3 y/o including art, educational games, outdoor time, reading books, listening to music, dancing, endless pretend play, etc. Kayla is very focused on the children's safety and I always felt comfortable having our children go on outings etc with her. Personally, Kayla is kind and professional and truly cares about the children she cares for."
