Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Even as young as 15, I took care of my younger family members, cousins, and children of my mom’s friends as well as volunteer for church. At 20 now, I do housework, cook and meal prep, and have a food handlers certificate— meaning I am well educated with safe food practices while actively pursuing a career in dietetics after college with my current and later known knowledge of nutrition and kinesiology. I am also willing to get first-aid and CPR certification if needed.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Keeping the kids active and engaged indoors by hosting fun 'Just Dance' tournaments and interactive musical brain breaks. Since age groups can determine what seems more fun, I like energetic dance-along and freeze dances for younger kids and a friendly choreography challenge or games for older ones. For the ones who have a more difficult time with attention span, aren’t interested in dancing/singing or can’t move as freely, I am fairly creative and will be able to freestyle some activities.

I have taken care of children who have autism. I find it incredibly important to remember that regardless of how a child is, they still need support, redirection, care, and attention. Some will need more than others and I’m always ready for anything!
