Being a nanny is so much more that watching children, it is creating that safe place when mom and dad aren't available, its being there to support them while they work through tough developmental milestones. My goal is always to scaffold on their interests and meet the child where they are not where they should be.

What I have learned in my experience is that kids say the darndest things. I'd have to say some of my favorite moments while working with kiddos are the activities when were sitting down sharing conversations, whether that'd be during meal time or car rides to our next adventure.
