My name is Kaylee. I have worked in child care since junior year of highschool and have helped with my two step sisters since I have been 15. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have taken child care classes in highschool since sophomore year. These classes we watched and took care of 8 month olds to 4 year olds. Feed them, interacted, put them to sleep. I then got a job at a preschool that was 6 months- 6 year old. And I did a similar thing but it was a Montessori school so we taught and helped child develop with their knowledge.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Since it is the summer I love to be active and outside. Of course relaxing is crucial as well but I do think it is more enjoyable to be out and running around outside with the kids. I also would love to help with taking them to their activities or what interests the kids to make sure they are happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is being able to have the connection with both parents and the kids. I think maintaining their schedules, following the same rules of the house hold and just communicating both ways of what is needed from each other.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have never been a nanny before. But my favorite moments with kids is making that connection with trust. I want to be able to make each individual feel comfortable and when I connect with kids like that it’s my favorite thing. One girl I worked with at the preschool would bring me arts and crafts and share her snacks. Even that just made my day and I was so happy I was considered a friend of hers.
