Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages. I worked as an in-home caregiver and home health aide for about a year and a half, caring for individuals from 6 months to 15 years old, as well as older adults up to 93 years old. Additionally, I have nannied regularly for family members throughout my life. These experiences have helped me develop strong nurturing, communication, and caregiving skills.

I enjoy doing everything! Pool days, gardening, reading, puzzles, board games, etc. I am flexible when it comes to activities & keeping their attention.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience supporting children with special needs through both personal and professional caregiving. I have provided care for a family member with cerebral palsy and a brain development disorder and, more recently, worked with autistic and neurodivergent children in my role as an in-home caregiver. I am committed to creating a safe, understanding, and supportive environment for every child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I brought my violin to play for a five-year-old girl with autism I regularly cared for, at the request of both her and her parents. Music was something she showed a strong interest in, and I wanted to create a moment that felt calming, engaging, and special just for her. As I played, I could see how much she was enjoying it — she became focused, relaxed, and genuinely happy. Watching her connect so deeply with the music was incredibly rewarding and reminded me how powerful creative expression can be for children. It was a beautiful experience that reinforced my love for incorporating music into caregiving whenever possible.
