A little bit about me

I am an elementary/special education major at Frederick Community College and have been pursuing this type of work since early high school. I have taken a high school class in which general education students helped run a PE class for special education students. I have also been a student intern at Rock Creek School (FCPS school for students with more profound special needs) and I also spent this past summer as a full time overnight and day camp counselor at Camp West Mar with the Downtown Frederick Y. I am taking classes at FCC Monday-Thursday at 2:00pm-3:15pm each day and am otherwise available. I have most of my upcoming events, etc. scheduled in a planner and would be more than able to discuss all of those in advance. In addition to being First Aid and CPR certified, I am also a certified shallow water lifeguard. I have a strong desire to work with children very closely and this kind of job would be perfect for me as a young college student.
