More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 5 years of experience working in childcare. I have worked in a daycare for 3 years and on weekends I provided babysitting for the families at the daycare when needed. I have worked as a preschool aide and substitute teacher at Pope John Paul II Catholic School for 1 year and I am currently working as a preschool aide in the PreK 3 classroom at St. Alexander Catholic School.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am pretty creative when it comes to activities. I take a lot of my activity ideas straight from school classrooms so they are strictly child centered and stem from play based learning. I enjoy engaging in arts and crafts activities. I find sensory play activities very effective especially for younger children. I enjoy putting together outdoor activities like gardening, water games, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, and more. I also truly enjoy reading books and creating activities to help children understand the big idea the book is trying to convey.

Hello! My name is Kelsey Panora. I have been working in childcare and education for about nine years, with the last five years spent as a paraprofessional for special needs students with Chicago Public Schools. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with students across various age groups, which has strengthened my passion for supporting children's growth and development while adapting to their individual needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by going for runs, spending time at the lake, and making memories with my senior dog. I look forward to continuing to grow both personally and professionally while making a positive impact on the children and families I work with.
