A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kaytlin and I'm 18 years old. I originally grew up in Duffield, Virginia but I just recently moved to Kingsport, Tennessee with my amazing fiance. I grew up around my wonderful nieces and nephews, which is where most of my experience has come from. Due to medical issues, I cannot have kids, which is where my passion for watching and helping children grow and learn mostly came from. Growing up helping raise my nephew and nieces, I have learned that each child has a very unique personality and getting to know each one is my favorite part. In the end, I'm an absolute child at heart and love doing everything they love to do, from crafts to playing outside. Is being just a small part of each childs growth in life. Whether we realize it or not, everything we do affects children and I want to be able to help give positive growth for each child.

My experience with special needs children...

My nephew is autistic but that has never gotten him down! He is one of the brightest children I have ever met and being able to watch him grow into the handsome young boy he is has been the most amazing experience of my life. The most important part that I have learned about helping take care of my nephew is that not every day will be easy, some days will get very tough. I've helped him on his brightest days as well as some of his lowest and I wouldn't take any of it back.
