Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a well experienced Nanny in my area (Dallas, TX) I have babysat/nannied children in the area for working parents and during short amounts of time that parents were out of the home. Ages of children ranged from a few months old to 9 years old. I was responsible for cooking and feeding the children, cleaning up after the children, as well as bathing and putting the children to bed. While I nannied the children I always wanted to make sure they saw me as a friend and not just someone their parents hired to care for their kids. I would paint and draw with them, Go outside and build forts or play with their toys and followed the rules the parents had written out. I always made sure to keep the kids engaged and entertained while their parents were out of the home.

I enjoy doing things that will keep their creativity flowing as well as keeping them active. I love to paint and draw with them, Go on walks to the park as well as building forts or playing with their toys. The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to being a nanny for me is giving the children a safe place to be themselves while being someone who they can confide in and look up to. Not necessarily in a parenting way, but an older sibling or role model.
