I understand that all children have difficult days, and the best way to move past these moments is to understand each child and work toward a compromise. Safety is very important to me; maintaining a safe and calm environment contributes to a positive experience for everyone. I also prioritize helping children with their homework and ensuring they understand the material.

My favorite moment was when I was nannying a 6-year-old girl who was having a rough day. I decided to create a self-care day for her. I started by letting her direct how she wanted the day to go. She was a very smart 6-year-old who knew exactly what she wanted!
We went to Target, where she picked out any color nail polish and one toy. I also grabbed some cookie dough and a face mask. After returning to her home, we played dress-up, made cookies, put on our face masks and she chose any age-appropriate movie to watch. It turned out to be a delightful day!
