I volunteered at a daycare/preschool during the summer of my senior year of college. I also worked in the daycare at church starting when I was 10. I have a lot of younger cousins I have babysat and watched grow up and I have 3 nephews - a 3 yo and twin 3 month olds. I absolutely adore them!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m very creative, so anything with arts and crafts is my favorite thing. I was a swim instructor for kids age 4-11 for 3 years and I absolutely love swimming. I grew up with a lot of outside play time and I love playing sports, drawing with chalk and playing with bubbles.
My experience with special needs children...
My cousin has non verbal autism and growing up, I would watch her when my Aunt and Uncle were busy or needed help. As she has become an adult, I have volunteered multiple times at the program she attends almost daily and worked with other special needs adults.
