Hi! I’m Keerstin. I have years of experience caring for kids, as well as elderly adults, so I bring lots of patience, empathy, and responsibility to my work. I’m currently a grad student for clinical mental counseling :) I also have experience with commercial and recreational cleaning, so I’ll always help keep your home tidy. With kids, I love doing crafts, painting, playing games, and exploring outdoors—especially at the beach or on nature walks. I enjoy backpacking, road trips, and staying active, and I share my home with a friendly cat and a playful kitten, so I’m very comfortable with pets. I’m passionate about helping kids feel supported, creative, and confident, and I’d love to bring my energy and care to your family!

1st grade classroom (Tuesday /Thursday 7 months term) to help children who struggled with reading comprehension. 3 years of babysitting experience 0-8 years. 1 year has a nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, supportive space where kids feel comfortable just being themselves. It’s not just about routines or activities it’s about really listening, showing up with patience and kindness, and giving each child the confidence to try new things, make mistakes, and grow. I want every child I care for to know they’re valued and understood, and that they always have someone in their corner, cheering them on no matter what.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was teaching a little boy how to ride his bike without training wheels. He was nervous at first, so we started slow, practicing in the driveway and coming up with funny songs to keep him smiling. After a few wobbly tries and lots of encouragement, he finally took off on his own—and the look of pure excitement and pride on his face was the best reward. Moments like that, where a child discovers what they’re capable of, are what make this job so special to me.
