Hello, My name is Mykeesha Hooks Im 46 years old. I do have kids of my own, I have 5 beautiful kids. there ages are 25 thur 18. I have two boy and three girls. I've been working in childcare since I was a very young girl, babysitting for my church family's and just people around the city. I've also spent some time working with the elderly in group homes and facilities. I have enjoyed working with people my whole life, I am a child of GOD he is a part of my life. I do like dogs not a cat person, I also love to do crafts I'm very crafty when it come to building a project especially out of cardboard. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love craft time. I also love working with big projects that include cardboard to make it life like. I also have pictures of things I have done for my friends and family. I love doing keep sake crafts for my kids just to remind them of me and what they have created.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Loving the kids and protecting them in the best way I can. making sure safety is all throught out or days that we are together.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experienced kids with special needs working in the facility I have worked in, I have work with a kid that didn't really speak but taught him my name and he use to say my name. I also worked with a kid that didn't like loud noise but we always come to confront each other in a manner where he was very confront able to except that the kids do be loud sometimes but got him to be calm more when it happens. I also worked in a elderly facility with a man that wasn't verbal at all but he understood me and followed me gracefully.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A good moment with my kids is baking, and doing 3-D projects, also doing experiments we have to learn together.
