More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have two years of childcare experience with children in ranges of age groups. I've learned how important it is to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to each child's needs. I'm comfortable helping with daily routines, keeping children engaged and active, and making sure they feel cared for.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing creative and interactive activities with children, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, baking, board games, and fun educational games. I can help with any school projects and homework, I was ASB Vice Pres. in high school so I really enjoy helping out with activities of that nature. Overall, I like to find activities that the kids find interesting and encourage their curiosity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part is making sure the children feel comfortable and safe, while building a trusting relationship with both the children and the parents. I want parents to feel confident knowing that their children are in caring and responsible hands.
My experience with special needs children...
Low experience with children with extreame levels of special needs. I can give any child the individualized care that they might need. I am happy to learn and work with any child's special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are seeing the children succeed and get excited about something that we are doing together. I also love to hear about their days, and hearing them talk through their experiences or the friends that they have made!

Hi! My name is Chloe and I am a year post grad from my Bachelor’s at UofSc. I’m moving down to California to work as a pottery teacher, as well as work on my own pottery business. I am looking to nanny part time to help pay the bills! I have experience teaching art to kids 8 and up, have babysat for a family with a 7 year old and 14 year old, and have also taught horse back riding lessons to kids aged 6 and up for many years. I also worked as a whitewater guide during the summers at college, and took kids camps that were 8 and up, and for that job I have a current Wilderness First Responder certification that includes CPR, and advanced first aid. I feel extremely comfortable and confident when it comes to taking care of kids, and I do really enjoy hanging out with them! Doing outdoor activities with kids is by far my favorite, with doing art projects being a close second.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Santa Barbara, CA: Alexandra S.
Hello! My passion throughout my life has been with children. I grew up helping with the neighborhood children and the childcare at my church. As soon as I turned 13 years old, I was babysitting around the neighborhood and the rest is history. During my time at SBCC, I was a manger at Natural Cafe and later became a Montessori Teacher's Assistant in Goleta. When I got into CSUN, I moved to Northridge and continued to be a caretaker for families, working with children ages 1-16 years old. After I got my bachelor degree in Deaf Studies (I am fluent in American Sign Language), I was a preschool teacher for 6 years at a Montessori in Calabasas. During this time I was also a travel nanny in the summer for some of the families at the school. Now I am back home in Santa Barbara and looking forward to helping families any way I can! I am happy to cook, clean, do laundry, tutor, entertain, take care of pets, make lunches for the next day, etc. I am excited to connect with you!
