some enjoyable indoor activities would be games, whether it be board games, video games, or even games that the kids make up. as well as different arts and crafts, baking little treats, etc.
some outdoor activities would include playing at the park, whether it on a playground or throwing/kicking a ball around, taking a walk in the neighborhood, drawing on the sidewalk in colorful chalk, etc.

Both my mother and my grandmother worked in a special needs' classroom in elementary school for several years, my mom up until 2 years ago. a constantly would help out in their classrooms whenever a got the chance.
