My experience with special needs children...
Verbal and non-verbal communication, some sign language (lil rusty and very basic ASL but always willing to relearn and enhance), some cerebral palsy PT and OT at home and in-center therapy sessions run with family and friends. Asthma and allergies have been a major part of mine and my children’s lives so I am ever conscious and understanding keeping calm in stressful situations.
