Caring. Working in nursing homes I saw people that actually cared and people that only worked for the money. It is heartbreaking that vulnerable adults are mistreated and not fully cared for just because someone doesn’t care. I take care of people as I would my own family.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t cared for special needs children per say, though I worked at a nursing home for a while in the locked unit (dementia, Alzheimer’s, etc) I also help care for my cousin in law whom is 22 years old and she has autism.
