More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in an after-school, summer and pre-school program in Hutchinson for 20 years. I was a lead teacher for about 5 years and then the Director for 15 years. Trinity’s Treasures was a private preschool/elementary program with anywhere from 70-120 children enrolled. I moved to Wichita and had worked for Primrose for the last year.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to just play with the children and learn about the types of things they are passionate about. Working with and learning about the children is my passion. They can actually teach us from time to time!

Setting a positive example and to just be a safe, dependable part of a family’s support system!

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have a lot of experience in this field as we were a privately funded program. We did not have access to para’s or any type of extra help for special needs children so we took children on case by case basis.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have never been a nanny but raised my awesome son and helped raise 3 step-children. I also have 2 grandchildren and one on the way! We are a very close knit family and enjoy being together as much as we can.
