More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have raised my two children as a single parent and cared for many other children either as a second/third income or to help another parent needing to work.
At 30 years of age, I decided to no longer give my loyalty and time to corporate America. Learning that corporate does not recognize the daily lives of their employees that devote more hours of the day to their employer than their own children receive. Yet, the almighty point system is law!
Went back to school and kept several children after school.
The aunt of triplets born at 28 weeks, were a busy experience as they came home and were still on heart monitors with specific regiments, schedules, medications, etc.
Currently, keep my grandchildren three times a week until recently.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing games, reading, drawing, coloring exercising, dancing, crafts, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being another branch of the family daily function.
Children are oblivious to the transition from mommy and daddy to nanny. Making a child feel secure, important, loved and part of the chaotic world we live in today.

My experience with special needs children...
I first grew up next door to a foster home, which I witnessed more than I should have.
Susan was a mentally challenged handicapped beautiful young lady that I spent a lot of hours daily caring for her.
Whatever the need be.
A close friend of mine also has a daughter with a severe disability, unable to communicate thru speech and has no mobility capabilities.

I have always loved kids! Grew up working with and teaching kids in the community. As well as working with pre-k and kindergarten students at church. I love to just simply hangout or do activities. Most people describe me as positive and hardworking. I would love to help any of you families out as needed! I am located in Indiana but was looking to move somewhere else! A live-in position would be awesome but if you’re just looking for part-time that works too! Reach out to me! :)
