More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My most relevant childcare experience has been my 2.5+ years working as an RBT, where I have supported children ages 2–8 with communication, social skills, emotional regulation, daily routines, and learning through play. I have experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. During my time as an RBT, I also picked up some basic ASL to help support communication and connect with children in different ways.
I have also gained experience planning activities, helping with routines, encouraging independence, and finding creative ways to make every learning opportunity a fun one. I love incorporating crafts, games, outdoor activities, and imaginative play into my time with children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love all things interactive! I enjoy making crafts, especially little projects and keepsakes that children can be proud of. I love exploring the zoo, parks, and nature walks where we can collect flowers, find cool bugs, and discover little things around us.
I also love the cozy days at home just as much. Whether we’re having story time, playing dress up, pretending to be mermaids, building an imaginary world, having a dance party, doing sensory activities, or splashing around at the splash pad on a hot day, I love finding ways to make every day fun. I believe every adventure, big or small, should come with a little “souvenir” to remember it by, whether that’s a craft we made, something we found, or a special memory we created together.
I love seeing kids’ personalities shine and encouraging their curiosity and creativity along the way.

My experience with special needs children...
I have over 2.5 years of experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities as a Registered Behavior Technician . Throughout my experience, I’ve supported children with many different communication styles, including children who are nonverbal, minimally verbal, verbal, use AAC devices, PECS, or prefer using ASL to communicate.
Working with children has taught me that every child has their own unique way of expressing themselves. I love getting to know each child individually, finding the tools that help them feel understood and confident, and celebrating their progress and little victories along the way. I have experience supporting communication, social skills, emotional regulation, independence, daily routines, and learning through play.

Babysitter Available in Lombard, IL: Taylor V.
I'm 22 and moving to a new area and looking for new opportunities there! I'm passionate about sports and plan to continue coaching basketball, but really miss my babysitting/nannying days and just love kids! I've helped out with childcare at church ever since I've been old enough and am always taking people up on babysitting offerings. I started nannying for a family when they needed a fill in for their nanny who was going on a long trip, and then continued to fill in nanny and babysit for them for over a year. I also nannied and still sometimes babysit for another family that needed a replacement when their nanny went back to school.
